Doe is a Brighton born and bred vocal coach, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and actor. Over the past decade he has built a portfolio career in the entertainment industry with special interest in Music. His professional career as a performer (actor/ musician) began at age 7 with his first professional appearance for Carlton Television. He followed this with a string of musical theatre and TV appearances throughout his school years. In 2008 he was nominated for BBC Radio 2’s Young Folk Musician of the Year. This saw his career as a singer and musician championing multiculturalism through his musical fusion blossom. Catapulted into festival circuits, touring and releasing albums Doe very much learnt his profession through passion, persistence and (as he would say) on the job. The next few years included tv appearances co-staring with the likes of Omid Djallili and on diverse shows including “The Voice” series 3. His music career saw collaborations and guest appearances with grammy award winning producers and acts such as Eliza Carthy, Imagined Village, Martin Carthy, Folk Against Facisum and Simon Emmerson (Afro Celt Sound System).

In 2012 Doe made his Westend Debut as the folk-singer and narrator in the Olivier Award winning play WARHORSE. Following an intense 14 month stint he was offered the opportunity to join the Cast of the Oliver award winning new musical “Once”. Which featured Oscar award winning song “Falling Slowly” and musical direction from Martin Lowe (Tony, Drama Desk and Obie Award Winner). This next chapter also saw appearances with international pop sensation Ronan Keating. The past 2 years has seen Doe develop a few key areas with his efforts focused on Directing and Producing music for theatre, Vocal Coaching and writing new material set for release in 2018. Maverick Music is the home of all Music activities surrounding Doe and it was in this time that he moved back to his own city of Brighton and brought the concept and company to life.

The concept grew from a desire to see music education offered in a more accessible and creative manner. He works from a place of passion with a drive to see music coached for health and excellence. In 2016 Doe created the Paper Scissors Rock Music Academy to make a clear distinction between his work with adults and children.

Outside of music Doe has a keen interest in Karate,Cooking, Barbering, Pokemon TCG and Theatre.
